The White Cliffs of Dover Council No. 210 was opened by the Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Derek Wilkins. He welcomed the Deputy District Grand Prefect, W. Bro. Geoff Whale to the Council.

W. Bro. Derek Wilkins then delivered a heartfelt memoriam for the distinguished brethren who had passed to the Grand Council Above: R.W. Bro. Terrence Bowler, V.W. Bro. Ray Walters, and W. Bro. Roy Skelton. The council paused to honour their contributions and remember their legacy.

Following the memoriam, the council adjourned the Degree of St Lawrence the Martyr. V.W. Bro. Ralph Mannings Apperley assumed the position of Illustrious Potentate to conduct the ceremony of Knights of Constantinople. His performance was marked by passion and dedication, engaging all present.

Bro. Pete Hayler, invited by the council to perform as the Senior Deacon, executed his role with heartwarming and commendable demeanour. Additionally, W. Bro. Roger Odd delivered a remarkable rendition of the lecture on the Knights of Constantinople, further enriching the ceremony.

The council then reconvened in the Degree of St Lawrence the Martyr, with W. Bro. Derek Wilkins resuming his role to oversee the full ceremony of Installation. This included the intricate inner workings for W. Bro. Keith Wildey, who subsequently invested his officers with professionalism and decorum.

W. Bro. Keith Wildey was delighted to be installed in to the chair of this wonderful Lodge, and hoped that his year would see both new candidates, and the progression of candidate already admitted to the Lodge in the previous Masonic Year.

The evening was further enriched by the visiting Brethren, without whom, the Order would simply not function.

Visiting is the life-blood of every Council, and the White Cliffs of Dover Council is very keen to welcome as many visitors as possible to its meetings in the next Masonic year, under the guidance and leadership of W. Bro. Keith Wildey.
